Super friendly host family. Great staff.

A quiet hotel in the old town of Frankenberg. I had a room that had not yet been renovated. In good condition, clean and large bathroom. A balcony with two chairs and a table is also included. The breakfast is good and there is something for everyone. I can recommend it.

Very nice hosts, quaint hotel with nice and modern rooms. Breakfast in Corona times comes right at the table, everything from fruit, eggs, sausage and cheese is included.

Family-run business with a really nice host family. We were on the road with the bikes and there were no problems storing them. The rooms are a bit old, but absolutely clean and we even had a small balcony. That was more than we got in the two 4 star hotels on the other days we were on the road ... Many thanks for everything!

Perfect room, cheap, good beer, and great luxury

For the first time in this hotel and three nights, but definitely not for the last time. Very warm, very nice and friendly. The location is beautiful, in the middle of Frankenberg. I recommend to everyone.

I can only recommend this hotel. All very warm and helpful. We arrived there on Saturday evening with a bicycle breakdown. The owner phoned around until he found someone who could help us so that we could continue on time the next morning. This is not a matter of course and I can only thank you again! Would love to come back again.

nice place full of history The story of this REAL, not a nice fake hotel that mimics things from the past. Always generous staff, excellent cuisine, 5-star breakfast and comfortable rooms, if not too modern. I will definitely come again!

We have been here for the first time since we visited friends in Burgwald. The hotel can be highly recommend the hospitality is very important! Room and bathroom 👍👍 Will come again many dear thanks.

We only spent a short night there. Free and good wifi, the rooms were clean and tidy, especially the bathroom. Parking is available nearby in the old town but is managed. The breakfast was adequate, nothing special. The few personal contact we had was very pleasant and positive.

There was nothing wrong, but no five stars because it was a little retro - maybe some of them were even more attractive! So I can only recommend it, their kitchen was good, the rooms, the environment was wonderful.

Kudos to the kitchen! Delicious food and great selection of rustic dishes. The service was always impeccable. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed lately. Really a pity !!!

Good and solid meals in the restaurant (one portion feeds a man for the entire day), fast WLAN and reasonable value for money. Breakfast is the usual German standard (which is low). The interior design is rustic (wether one likes it or not).
